Conventional caffeine tablets from the pharmacy or drugstore are produced in tablet presses. Fillers and chemicals are required for production. To prevent the caffeine tablets from falling apart, the consistency of the crystalline powder is massively changed. Caffeine capsules on the other hand can be held together by a capsule shell. In this way, the proportion of additives can be drastically reduced. There is no difference between caffeine tablets and caffeine capsules in terms of effect and duration of action. Labortests
